How Can You Tango with Tangerine!

I’m sure by now you’ve probably heard somewhere that Pantone’s 2012 Color of Year is Tangerine Tango and if you’re not too tired of hearing about it by now, I’d love to put in my two cents! I’m thrilled with the color, it makes me happy! I’ve been using the color quite a bit over the last few months in some current projects…who knew! Kitchen Renovation: Where to Start When Selecting Finishes?

We are getting very close to wrapping up one of our latest projects….a Kitchen renovation. We were hired to completely redesign and renovate the Kitchen as well as the adjacent Dining Room and Keeping Room. I thought I would share the progress and how we got started with the finish selections. A Kitchen renovation can be very intimidating project to tackle but it doesn’t have to be if you know exactly where to start and how to select the proper finishes. An Interior Designer that has been through the steps a thousand times can be your best investment when renovating a Kitchen.

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest ….Who’s In?

I can’t think of a better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to decorate a Gingerbread House with your family! It has been quite a while since I’ve decorated one of these!! And to be honest this wasn’t on my list of things to do this holiday season, but I’m sure glad my Design Blogger friend Stacy Naquin decided to host a Gingerbread House decorating contest for Designers and Bloggers (and any other creative types that want to participate of course).
