The successful completion of your design project depends on being able to determine a practical – and realistic – budget.

Many homeowners sort of have a figure in mind when they decide to move forward on their project. What’s often missing is a clear understanding of just what that budget has to cover.

It can be a real mystery. And an expensive one at that. Especially if you were to end up having to hand over a second design fee for a project that more closely resembles what you actually have to spend.

That’s because I work closely with you to put together a detailed list of everything that will be need to be included in the project.

For starters, I’ll provide you with a price range per each item giving us a very close budget estimate on the spot.

But we’ll want to consider a number of other things like labor, material costs, furnishings and installation charges.

• Out of pocket expenses

• Applicable taxes
