Huge Atlanta Home Furnishings Sale

I had an amazing time yesterday previewing and shopping the huge Atlanta Decorative Arts Sample Sale with one of my clients yesterday. The selection is amazing so if you haven’t made it yet be sure to check it out. It’s open to the public today, tomorrow and Sunday!! There are so many great pieces to choose from and a ton of lamps and accessories. I think we came away with a little of everything. Check out a sneak peak below!

Project Sneak Peek: Precious Boy Nursery

This has been an exciting week for us! We installed a sweet Boy Nursery for one of our long time repeat clients. The room turned out to be precious and soft and everything that Momma-to-be could have ever dreamed of…..she absolutely loved it!!

High Point Market 2012 Fall Highlights

I have been at the High Point Furniture Market for the last few days and have so much to share with you! Not only have I seen some great new furniture, furnishings and trends but I was able to catch up with many of my closest design friends and colleagues. I spent 5 full days searching high and low for new manufacturers and resources to help better serve my clients! I am completely re-energized and inspired and ready to jump right in and begin working on my new projects (more on those later)!

Create a Home with New Traditional Style

Some of my favorite home interiors are full of classic elements and timeless details. I guess you could say I’m a traditionalist at heart, but not a typical traditionalist, a New Traditionalist. When designing interiors, I do prefer classical forms but with much less moldings and fewer carvings. I prefer cabinetry and case pieces with fewer ornamental touches and decoration. Simple, Classic, Timeless…..

My Top 12 Bedside Table Must Haves

In my experience, designing Master Bedrooms can be a very personal affair and each project brings it own unique needs and challenges. There are so many questions to ask and details to uncover to assure a perfect fit and out come. The space must be comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing. I find when it comes to function, one of the most important things to get right is making sure that I accommodate each clients specific needs at their bedside table or nightstand. If a beautiful space does not function properly it’s a failure.
