Before and After: Baby Boy Nursery Design

Remember back a couple months ago I shared a little Sneak Peek of a sweet little boys Nursery that I had just completed? You can see the images here. Well I’m happy to say that my client’s precious bundle has finally arrived and they are happily enjoying their new space together!!

I wanted to share the BEFORE and AFTER of the project as well as thank some very important people who this room would not have been possible… workroom, my faux painter and the creators of our customizable artwork. I’m sharing my amazing vendors below….don’t miss out!! They are incredible, kind, sharing and so willing to go the extra mile. I am so blessed to be able to work with each and every one of them!

So without further delay, here is a shot of the room before we started our journey of transforming this blank canvas into a sanctuary created for new little Max and his proud new parents……

Remember this rendering I shared on Instagram (@JRi_design) and Facebook? Be sure to follow me so you don’t miss out on other Sneak Peeks of current projects in the works…..

And finally, the……

All of this could not have been possible without Donna and Florin of Lasconi Design Workroom. They truly are one-of-a-kind, they have a very special talent and passion for what they do AND they absolutely NEVER disappoint!! Thank you for everything you do Donna and Florin!!

My client found this very sweet, custom made mobile online, it’s precious and so different. The crystals sparkle when the light hits them just right, a true eye catcher for any new born!

And the Nursery of course wouldn’t be complete without the addition of stuffed animals and a giraffe from Neiman’s, right?!

My faux painter Melissa Jones is a GEM!! Check out this adorable little custom bookcase she BUILD from scratch and then painted to coordinate with our space. It’s a PERFECT fit and we couldn’t have been more thrilled!!

She also threw together this little stool for us in a pinch, she is so talented!!

AND I would like to send out a BIG thank you to Dish and Spoon for providing us with the beautiful artwork for our room. Marie and her team are amazing as so very talented. They can custom make just about anything you can dream of (they even designed and fabricated a growth chart to our exact liking!). All of their work is custom-made and hand crafted in the USA and we just love that! Be sure to check them out today, you won’t be disappointed…..tell Marie that I said “hello”!

Professional photography by CHRISTINA WEDGE……thank you for all that you do Christina!!

I hope you enjoyed this Before and After, maybe found some new vendors and a bit of inspiration! Please let me know if I can answer any questions about any of them. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments below. Hope you’re having a great week. TOMORROW I will be installing my Room Service Atlanta project and I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes photos as we wrap up that project….I can’t wait!! Today I’m doing a bit of last minute shopping for those final details to complete the room, I look forward to sharing!

    Hi Jennifer,

My name is Naomi Kay and I often follow your blog. I love the way you coordinate a room with furniture, paint colours and finishes. Last year I emailed you and asked if It would be a good idea to attend Maria Killam’s colour expert workshop in Vancouver BC and I’m so glad I did. I work for a construction company called Rykon in a development called Sonoma Pines helping our clients put their home together(carpets, paint colours etc). You had mentioned that you learned more after school than in school. I hope I understood you correctly. I did take a certificate course which was very general as well. So what I would like to know, is how did you learn to put a room together so beautifully? Is it years of practice and talent, reading books, partly school, research on the Internet, learning things like Olioboard? I guess I’m trying to figure out how to learn more.

Thanks so much for your time.
