This has been an exciting week for us! We installed a sweet Boy Nursery for one of our long time repeat clients. The room turned out to be precious and soft and everything that Momma-to-be could have ever dreamed of…..she absolutely loved it!!
We used a color palette of soft blues, neutrals and chocolate brown furniture. Although there is not a ‘theme’ in the room, we subtly introduced the story of “The Lion and the Lamb” throughout the space. Mom to be had kept for all these years her childhood stuffed lamb and loved the idea of incorporating the story into the room. Although a bit worn and tattered, her cherished lamb found a perfect home on our new bookcase shelves (pictured below).
Our custom swivel rockers below are the perfect balance of function, style and comfort. Can you see the faint paisley pattern on the upholstery? Isn’t it dreamy!
This is just a little taste of what we have installed over the crib. We designed a custom canopy detail with sweet satin blue ribbons. It is picture perfect….just as planned in the rendering below!
And of course a large giraffe from Neiman Marcus is a nice touch too!
We were THRILLED when Dish and Spoon approached us about collaborating on some customized artwork for our new nursery! They are an amazing company to work with and all of their beautiful hand-crafted pieces are made in the USA. The Lion and Lamb artwork is just precious and was the perfect addition to our sweet room! Thank you Marie for all of your help and guidance throughout the process. You were are dream to work with!!
What are some of your favorite Nursery THEMES or color palettes that you’re seeing currently?
