Back from High Point Market: Top Trends Spotted

My trip to High Point was absolutely amazing and unlike anything I have ever attended before. I have visited Market a few times in the past but this time, it was different. I cannot possibly fill you in with just one Blog post so I will hit the highlights here and you best be sure there will be more to follow.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Jennifer Reynolds

Here I am with Martyn Lawrence-Bullard of Million Dollar Decorators. He is just as charming in real life as he is on television….I just love his accent – “Hello Darling!”

Ok….let’s get to the good stuff. I’ll fill you in on some of the highlights and trends that I saw most prominent at Market!

“Sunburst Mirrors are Sizzling”

Studio A Gold Sun Burst Mirror

Gorgeous in Gold! This sun burst mirror caught my eye in the A Studio showroom.

Oly Gold Sun Burst Mirror

Spotted this sun burst mirror in Oly….I think it’s spectacular!

I don’t want to keep you in too much suspense so some of the other trends I’ll touch on over the next few posts are Door Knocker Pulls, Tufted Furniture and Accents, Brass Gold is Everywhere and here to stay, glamorous colored Shagreen, big beautiful oversized lamps and accessories, tailored pillows, twigs and branches, felt pillow poofs, oh the color….bright, beautiful color, even antlers to Lucite and everything in between.

I’ll fill you in on some of the amazing events, after parties and speaking engagements I was able to attend as well! Be sure to check back often for more updates and must sees!

I'm actualy glad to see the warmer brass make a comeback. I still own several items that are antique /brushed brass., however, I gave away all my shiny brass candlestick etc (not expensive) …did you see both finishes at High Point?

    Hi Maureen!
I am glad to see Gold finishes coming back too…it's warm and rich! Glad to hear you've gotten rid of all your shiny brass. I don't see a need for that any time in the near future (unless you want to spray paint it:)!!
    Take care xoxo
